Woman Against Shark

Blake Lively will face some sharks after working with Woody Allen, and that is not an observation regarding any criticism she may face for collaborating with the embattled filmmaker.

The Age of Adaline star is circling In the Deep, a new shark thriller from the helmer of Run All Night, Jaume Collet-Serra. She would play a surfer coping with the loss of her mother when she gets stranded on a buoy out in the middle of the vast blue...with a great white shark blocking her way to safety.

It’s all very Jaws-meets-127 Hours, with a dash of Wild thrown in for good measure.

Alas, Lively may have a scheduling conflict with the Allen project, but I am sure the powers that be will sort it out.

They better. We need to find out what else this woman can do.
