The star of TV’s Supergirl has landed a part in the upcoming Mark Wahlberg-led account of the events surrounding the Boston Marathon bombing on April 15, 2013.
The actress will take on the role of Katherine Russell, the wife of bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
Kevin Bacon, J.K. Simmons, John Goodman, and Khandi Alexander (TV’s Scandal), among others, also part of the project.
Patriots Day is due out on Dec. 21.
