On Pointe and On Screen

Well look at that.

Becoming the first black female principal dancer with the American Ballet Theatre was, believe it or not, quite the feat – so it should come as no surprise that Misty Copeland’s life is becoming a movie.

Indeed, Copeland’s Life in Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina is all set to be adapted for the silver screen, by Gregory Allen Howard, the guy who wrote Remember the Titans and who recently delivered the script for a feature about Harriet Tubman.

Call your agent, Tika Sumpter.
