Dylan O’Brien may still be convalescing from his accident on the set of the forthcoming Maze Runner: The Death Cure threequel – but the world? It’s kept on in spinning.
That is why the actor is in the mix to play Mitch Rapp in the adaptation of Vince Flynn’s American Assassin.
The part would see O’Brien carry out covert counter-terrorism operations for the CIA, with Michael Keaton in the role of a Stan Hurley, the Cold War badass vet who mentors and guides him (Chris Hemsworth and Bruce Willis were attached to these parts just a few years ago).
Sounds like someone’s getting ready to get back in the saddle. Good for him.
