Let’s start with the first preview for Bridget Jones’s Baby, shall we? I kinda sorta forgot all about it last week, what with all the excitement for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but now it’s time to right that wrong.
Renée Zellweger is back for more, with less weight on, and reprising the part that earned her her first Academy Award nomination 14 years ago. Her wanton sex goddess is all slimmed down, alright, at the top of her game at work (which comes with its perks, including indulging in a mild flirtation with Ed Sheeran!), and...single?
Indeed, Bridget and Colin Firth’s Mark Darcy seem to be over, and since Hugh Grant’s Daniel Cleaver will not be around anymore....
Enter Patrick Dempsey, who may or may not be the one who puts the movie’s titular bundle of joy in Bridget.
Oh the scandal. And the hijinks! How will it all turn out?
We’ll just have to wait until Bridget Jones’s Baby’s delivered on Sept. 16 to see – if anything so we can find out who she’s walking down the aisle toward!
