The Manga-beast has had to pull out of Six, this new History Channel drama about Navy SEALs that he’d been shooting, reportedly because of complications from appendicitis surgery.
Alas, the show must go on, since life goes on, and Walton Goggins (FX’s Justified) will be taking over Manganiello’s role, which means Six will be reshooting its first two eps (there will be eight) to adjust to its new star, who will now help chronicle a 2014 mission to take out a Taliban leader in Afghanistan that takes a bad turn when the SEALs discover that an American citizen is aiding the terrorists.
