McGregor is starring in next month’s Last Days In the Desert, the new film by Rodrigo García (Albert Nobbs), an imagined chapter from Jesus’s 40 days of fasting and praying in the desert featuring the actor as the son of God and the son of the Devil.
Ciarán Hinds (HBO’s Game of Thrones), Tye Sheridan (X-Men: Apocalypse), and Ayelet Zurer (Netflix’s Daredevil) co-star.
Last Days In the Desert is set to open on May 13.
