McConaughey is poised to be on the receiving end of a tidal wave of accolade this awards season thanks to his buzzed-about turned in Dallas Buyers Club. I mean, he is fully expected to get his first Oscar nom when the time comes.
Up first, though, the “extraordinary and versatile” actor will be honored with the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in January.
I should get and go to there....
