What – Were You Expecting the Spanish Inquisition?

The Monty Python boys are set to reunite.

Right on!

Terry Jones has confirmed the good news by saying, “We’re getting together and putting on a show – it’s real.

“I hope to be able to pay off my mortgage!

An official announcement is expected to be made in London tomorrow.

Whatever they do, this will be the first time John Cleese, Jones, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, and Michael Palin – the group’s five surviving members (Graham Chapman died in 1989) – will perform ensemble since 1998.

The Monty Python boys “final reunion, Sort of,” will air live on the telly from London’s O2 Arena next July 1. Tickets will go on sale this Nov. 25.

“If we left it too long,” said Idle, who will direct the shenanigans, “it would be too late.

So far the reunion is expected to be a one-of, but a tour hasn’t been completely ruled out.
