The actor has signed on be one of the stars of Salem, WGN America’s first-ever scripted drama. Seth Gabel (TV’s Fringe) and Ashley Madekwe (TV’s Revenge) are also on board.
West will play the show’s main man, a hardened vet of 10 years of war and captivity at the hands of the Indians who returns to Salem to find it going up in flames in a frenzy of witch hunts.
Salem is set for a spring 2014 debut, while the final season of Nikita will premiere on The CW later this month.
