That’s kind of a way to sum up part of the plot of the forthcoming While We’re Young, a new movie that will reunite Emma Watson with her Perks of Being a Wallflower director Stephen Chbosky.
The Bling Ring star will headline the adaptation of this Adena Halpern novel about a 75-year-old lady who, still feeling quite full of life, realizes that she has far more in common with her 29-year-old granddaughter than with her stick-up-her-butt 55-year-old daughter. The story kicks into high gear when the lady is granted a birthday wish and gets to be 29 again, just for a day, which she uses to go on a grand adventure with her grandkid.
Sweet!
Imma go and presume that Watson’s gonna play the granddaughter in this one. Or maybe the now-young lady.
