Sorry, Jaden, but After Earth was a stinker and a half.
Jordan, on the other hand, is coming off a critically acclaimed breakthrough summer thanks to Fruitvale Station, and he’s already rumored to be taking on a major part in ID Forever Part 1, the first sequel to Independence Day.
Plus, he is also said to be on a very short list to play The Human Torch in the Fantastic Four reboot that his Chronicle director Josh Trank is set to helm.
And he’s got a Rocky spin-off on his To Do list.
And, maybe, he also could be part of the next wave of Star Wars movies.
“They’re trying to figure out what they want [in terms of who will play which role, what the story will be],” Jordan recently said, confirming that he has auditioned for the J.J. Abrams-directed Episode VII (although, unlike Saoirse Ronan, he did not get to play with a lightsaber). “It’s pretty crazy! We’ll see how it happens. I don’t know how I can do everything.”

Just keep at it, kid.

This is a very smart article...honest and to the point.
I just adore this young man, his demeanor his smile, his frankness. I think that he would serve any of the roles well. Michael is very versitile, I've seen him comedic as well as dramatic and he does both with such ease. I'v always liked a slight bit of charismatic charm and wit to soften the sometimes gritty scenes. Well there you have it I love MICHAEL B JORDAN
