Hot on the heels of last month’s announcement that Tim Burton’s working on a live-action Dumbo comes word that Disney also has commissioned a live-action Winnie the Pooh. Not to mention a live-action version of Mulan.
The Pooh movie will focus on an adult Christopher Robin.
Hey, here’s an idea: How ’bout the powers that be ask for some real-life, live-action fresh and new ideas? I am sure a lot of creativity will go into bringing these stories to life, but we have all seen – and loved – them before, you know. Couldn’t we possibly stop remaking things and start making ’em?
