The New Lara Croft, Too?

I hope she doesn’t do it.

Daisy Ridley is reportedly in the running to play Lara Croft in a reboot of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

Now, here’s why I think the Star Wars: The Force Awakens breakout should avoid this project: Because she is Rey.

She doesn’t need to do something big and loud and flashy and splashy and money because she already is Rey. She should go for something more earthly – something that will showcase her, not the Hollywood post-production machine. Plus, this would absolutely pigeonhole her, and nobody wants that, right?
