Once upon a time, a nuclear-powered Russian K-141 Kursk sub sank during a training exercise in the Barents Sea.
It happened in the year 2000, and, now, Matthias Schoenaerts is going to help tell that story, as one of 23 sailors on board to survive the crashed that caused the ordeal and desperately cling to oxygen and hope as the minutes to rescue tick-tocked by ’em.
The film will be titled Kursk, and it will be based on A Time to Die: The Untold Story of the Kursk Tragedy by Robert Moore.
Alrighty then. Anything that keeps Schoenaerts coming to the movie theater is fine by me.
