The search for a replacement for former Ant-Man director Edgar Wright is over.
Marvel has tapped Peyton Reed (Bring It On, Down with Love, and The Break-Up) to helm its troubled, Paul Rudd-led production, which lost Wright last month over creative differences.
Adam McKay, a Will Ferrell fave and of the directors whose named was bandied about for the gig, also has joined project and will be rewriting the script that McKay had co-written.
The (long-gestating) Ant-Man movie will start shooting in the fall, and it is still scheduled to be released next July.
