Adam Sandler is definitely an interesting fella.
Just when you are about to really give up on him – didja see he did Grown Ups 2, for cryin’ out loud? – the guy tosses us a curveball.
He did it with Punch-Drunk Love and Reign Over Me and Funny People....
His latest move in that direction? Evidently, he and director Jason Reitman (Up in the Air) are talking about working together.
Word from the Toronto International Film Festival last week had the two set to collaborate on an adaptation of Chad Kultgen’s novel Men, Women & Children, the story of a family with junior high school kids and how they navigate their sexual awakenings in a the new, porn-happy digital era.
The film also has drum interest in and from Reitman’s Juno star Jennifer Garner, Your Sister’s Sister’s Rosemarie DeWitt, and Cameron Diaz.
