Word from the Toronto International Film Festival has it that Two Lovers director James Gray wants the Cumber-stud to star in his next project, an adaptation of David Grann’s non-fiction book The Lost City of Z.

The actor would play Percy Fawcett, an explorer who in 1925 ventured into the depths of the Brazilian Amazon to map the area but ended up discovering a mythical city.

Mmm...B.C. in explorer’s khakis. I like.
