Took ’em long enough to confirm it: Jennifer Lopez will be joining Keith Urban on American Idol next season.

And they’ll be doing so with producer Dr. Luke former guest mentor Harry Connick Jr. when the show comes back on the air in the winter.

Well, that’s finally done.
