Behind-the-camera R. Patz

Robert Pattinson may be modeling, but he does want us to remember that his first love is Kristen Stewart acting.

So R. Patz has gone and booked himself Life, the story of Magnum shutterbug Dennis Stock and the friendship he struck up with James Dean back in the day.

It up-and-comer Dane DeHaan (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) will play the American icon in the film, which will be directed by The American’s Anton Corbijn.

The indie is expected to go into production in Canada next winter.
