I was just wondering who this James Corden dude was last week, when I saw the teaser for Into the Woods, and now I know: He’s kind of a big deal.
Or he’s gonna be.
Corden has been tapped to replace Craig Freguson as the new host of TV’s Late Late Show.
The Brit – the winner of a 2012 Tony Award, for his leading work in One Man, Two Guvnors – will take over the show next year, if not in early 2016, since Ferguson’s contract doesn’t expire until the end of 2015, if memory serves.
Good for him.
