The Prometheus star is going to play opera singer Maria Callas in a new film from Niki Caro (McFarland, USA, North Country).
Callas – adapted from the biography by Alfonso Signorini, Too Proud, Too Fragile – will zero in on the singer’s passionate, two-decade-long relationship with Aristotle Onassis.
No word on just who might play the Greek shipping magnate yet.
