Alright. Looks like it will be a Brit and a Mexican carrying part of the story in Star Wars: Rogue One.
Diego Luna has landed a part opposite Felicity Jones in the Gareth Edwards-helmed spin-off centering on a Rebel raid to steal the architectural plans for the Death Star.
Meanwhile, Ben Mendelsohn’s (Netflix’s Bloodline) casting has been confirmed; he will be playing the movie’s main villain. Riz Ahmed (Nightcrawler) also has jumped on board, as another lead. No word on whether Sam Claflin will follow suit.
Star Wars: Rogue One is scheduled for a December 2016 release.
