The Grand Budapest Hotel’s Saoirse Ronan and Annette Bening have signed on to star in an adaptation of the Anton Chekhov play, which centers around the romantic and artistic conflicts between four characters.
I smell awards bait....
Michael Mayer, the Tony-winning director of Spring Awakening, will helm the film, which will also star Corey Stoll (pictured here) and Billy Howle (Broadway’s Ghosts).
