The Banger has launched the anti-homelessness, pro-LGBT people Happy Hippie Foundation.
Guess her stunt at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards – she asked a (formerly?) homeless young man that she had met recently to accept her Video of the Year hardware on her behalf and raise awareness of “the 1.6 million runaways and homeless youth in the United States who are starving, lost, and scared for their lives right now” – was way more than just a grab for publicity. It was a blueprint for a world-changing effort that is now in effect.
She’s just being Miley – and taking the attention she has worked so hard to get and refocusing it on a worthwhile matter.
