The new Vacation – which promises to “stand on its own” – will open on July 29 and feature Ed Helms as the grown-up version of Rusty, the son of Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase, who is returning for continuity’s sake, natch, not to mention the nostalgia effect) from the original classic, as he, too, takes his family on a trip to Walley World.
The movie co-stars Christina Applegate, Leslie Mann, and, of course, Beverly D’Angelo.
