See, Xavier Dolan (Mommy) is set to start shooting It’s Only the End of the World later this month, and the young director has cast the Academy Award-winning in his adaptation of the Jean-Luc Lagarce play, in which a writer revisits his hometown with the intention of announcing his upcoming death to his family. But then old resentments rear their ugly heads, and all attempts of empathy are sabotaged by folks’ inability to simply listen and love.
Sounds like feel-good, fun time at the movies.
It’s Only the End of the World will co-star Gaspard Ulliel (Saint Laurent), Vincent Cassel (Child 44), and SPECTRE’s Léa Seydoux.
