Stealing Another Go

Drew Barrymore is making her directorial career happen.

The actress, who’s working on her second effort behind the camera, a romance called How to Be Single, already is looking at coming back for thirds.

She has lined up Heist Society, a thriller based on the young-adult novel by Ally Carter, as her next project, which she will produce and direct.

Barrymore will tell the story of a young woman who hails from an extended family of cat burglars and master thieves, who, after she leaves the life behind, soon finds herself getting pulled back in.

It all happens after her father becomes the prime suspect in the case of a mobster’s missing art collection, and it is up to her to track and get it all back so she can clear her papa’s name.

I wonder who she’ll get to star.... I’m thinking Leighton Meester.
