Brangelina Getting Married?

Well, Americans are in for a wedding event of their own.

Hollywood royalty Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Us Weekly is reporting, are planning on tying the knot after six years together.

The magazine says in its latest cover story that the couple is looking to have an intimate and informal ceremony at their Château Miraval in France in the next few months at the insistence of their six kids. Brangelina had been resisting making it official until everyone – straight and gay – could marry, but it seems their brood may be wearing them down a bit.

(I bet the magazine is already prepping its Jennifer Aniston-loses-it follow-up story for next week. Ha!)

That is not to say Pitt or Jolie are double-backing on their support of the LGBT community, though. He recently said that he found it “encouraging that New York has joined the movement to grant equal marriage rights to its citizens” after the Empire State voted to legalize gay marriage last month.

I guess time will tell if this story holds water.
