Because You Cannot Keep a Good Knight Down

The Dark Knight Rises is officially coming soon.

’Cause, y’ know, a movie’s not really happening until you see a poster.

And, boy, what...a striking image the first teaser for Christopher Nolan’s threequel conjures up, huh. Gotham appears to be falling, but Batman is nowhere to be seen on the one-sheet – only the Batsignal points to his imminent arrival.

I guess we’ll have to wait until next summer to see how he makes his triumphant return to the city that turned its back on him at the end of The Dark Knight....

Update: The first teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises is not supposed to hit screens until Friday when it plays before the last Harry Potter movie...but you can click here if you just cannot wait for it.
