Hello! What is this – the mid-’90s?
Well, it isn’t...it’s the Age of the Vampire, and fittingly, the director and her muse are reuniting for a new comedy called Vamps about two New York City (reformed) blood-sucking gal pals.
Krysten Ritter (who will be seen in this fall’s new TV show Apt. 23, if memory serves) plays the other lady of the night.
The movie, co-starring Justin Kirk (Showtime’s Weeds), Sigourney Weaver, and Wallace Shawn (Mr. Hall!), will follow Silverstone and Ritter as they navigate life in the city that never sleeps...and falling for a mortal.
So cool Silverstone and Heckerling are back together....
