The Aussie has taken over the Spartacus role from Andy Whitfield, who left the Starz show after only one celebrated season to focus on his health (the actor is battling non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma), and, can you say dayum?

Spartacus: Vengeance, as Spartacus: Blood and Sand is now known, is set to hit the air next January.
