The Homeland star (he played Claire Danes’ father) was 65 and had been struggling with melanoma.
Rebhorn always brought a little something extra to every project he was involved it (and he had a whopping 125 credits to his name, mind you). A presence that was most welcome.
Even when he was walking down a New York street, as he was when I spotted him a few years ago – he was such a prolific actor he even had a cameo in my life! – he made me smile.
