Newlywed Eva Longoria may have seen her NBC Telenovela die an early death, but, no matter, gf is now thinking BBC Two.

That’s because the actress is circling the three-part miniseries adaptation of Evelyn Waugh’s Decline and Fall.

Jack Whitehall is already set to star as hapless Paul Pennyfeather, who is sent down to Wales from Oxford following a wild drunken party and ends up becoming the schoolmaster at a boys’ private school, where he meets a beautiful, wealthy, and powerful South American woman (enter La Longoria), for whom he falls. Natch.

Up next for Longoria, though, is Lowriders, and indie set in East L.A. about inspiration in a world of lowrider cars and street tagging.
