That British cutie Russell Tovey is joining the ABC hit next season as a series regular, taking on the role of a mysterious and mischievous gadabout.
The character will play a little bit with Tovey’s own real-life status as an out gay man, for he – the man the actor will portray – will be “just as likely to seduce your husband as he is to pick his pocket when its over.”
Sounds hella sexy. Potentially.
Up first for Tovey, though, is the story-wrapping HBO movie that will serve as the conclusion to the premium cabler’s two-season gem, Looking. That’s set to premiere on July 23, btw – so do mark your calendars and send that show out in style, OK.
