The actor – who just opened up about his son’s premature birth – has his eye on the Magnificent Seven project that Antoine Fuqua is getting ready to direct.
Starring Denzel Washington, the project is a remake of the 1960 film centering on a group of gunmen who defend a Mexican town from a bunch o’ outlaws.
F to the Y to the I: Nic Pizzolatto (HBO’s True Detective) wrote the original draft for the new script. So this is a hot project.
