Fourteen years after he untitledly pondered how...som’in’ felt (remember that video?), D’Angelo is set to deliver his much-anticipated third album, Black Messiah.
Today, at a Red Bull Music Academy/Afropunk listening session in New York City.
The album’s first single is a track titled “Sugah Daddy,” which Rolling Stone describes as a “brassy, funky [ditty that] fully employs the singer’s trademark falsetto, [an offering that] would slide comfortably on the back half of his neo-soul classic Voodoo.”
Welcome back, dude!
