The criminally under-Emmy’d Desperate Housewife is going to lead a new single-camera comedy for Fox written by Nahnatchka Khan (TV’s Don’t Trust the B---- in Apt. 23).
Fatrick will revolve around Patrick, a thirtysomething former fat kid who realizes he is not quite where should be at the particular point in his life where we meet him.
Cross will play Patrick’s nutritionist-mother both in the present time as well as in flashbacks that will illuminate his past struggle with the taunts that came with the nickname that gives the show its name
Fatrick is hoping for a fall berth.
