Spidey Swinging Back Into Action

If you thought Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man was nothing but a subpar shinier bonafide copy of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man, then you are gonna be reassured by the trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

And if you liked the movie, you are gonna get real excited in a moment.

’Cause. There will be. Action.

Looks like Webb’s gonna Andrew Garfield’s dive deep into it and into the mysteries surrounding the life and work of his Peter Parker’s father Richard (Campbell Scott).

Plus, he is gonna have to content with Jamie Foxx’s Electro. And Dane DeHaan’s shifty Harry Osborn. And Paul Giamatti’s Rhino.

Sure, the summer 2014 blockbuster looks just a tad overstuffed – but it sure looks like it will be a unrelentingly fun ride.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into theaters on May 2.
