That latest incarnation of all things ethereal, Elle Fanning, is getting her own YA adaptation.
Dakota’s little sister is set to star in the adaptation of Kevin Henkes’ Newbury Honor-winning novel Olive’s Ocean, the story of a young girl who goes on a summer of soul searching after she finds out that a recently deceased classmate had always wanted to become her friend.
And get this: Evidently, the project came about because one its producers working on another movie starring her big sister asked El. Fan what he favorite book was.
Neato.
And if only things were that easy for the rest of us mortals....
