Don’t ever say Sarah Michelle Gellar doesn’t remember where she came from.
The actress reached out to the powers that be at All My Children upon hearing the soap that earned her a Daytime Emmy, in the role of Kendall, was to be no more, and asked if she could guest before the end. Producers, of course, said yes.
Gellar’s only caveat? That she doesn’t play Kendall.
“I was specific – I don’t want to be Kendall; that’s [now someone else]'s role,” she said. “But I wanted to be a part of it. I have no idea what I’m going to do, but I’m excited.”
Also reprising his role on All My Children as the sudser readies its swan song? Josh Duhamel.
