The Thorn at Cappie’s Side

It’s official: Matrix baddie Hugo Weaving will play Johann Schmidt, a.k.a. the Red Skull, in next year’s Captain America: The First Avenger.

The actor joins Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, and Sebastian Stan in the Marvel production.

Production on the blockbuster is set to begin this summer in London.
