I can’t wait until New Year’s Eve to see the Sundance hit Blue Valentine – but I guess I’m gonna have to.

The film, starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams (who are not dating, btw) as a married couple going through their high ups and low downs, is getting incredible early buzz already.

It just played at the Cannes Film Festival – Entertainment Weekly’s Dave Karger tweeted it was “utterly devastating” (and I think he speaks gospel).

Take a look at these clips, and tell me it doesn’t look like powerful stuff.
