The actress is set to star in the feature adaptation of the Oscar-winning short doc Freeheld.
The erstwhile Juno will play “New Jersey car mechanic Stacie Andree, along with her police detective-gf, Laurel Hester [actually her domestic partner], battled to secure Hester’s pension benefits after she was diagnosed with a terminal illness.”
What a timely, dialogue-inviting role.
