Wanted star James McAvoy is enrolling in X-Men: First Class.The Scottish actor will star as Charles Xavier in the movie, which will be directed by Matthew Vaughn (Layer Cake, Kick-Ass) and chronicles the younger years of Xavier and Erik Lensherr before they became archenemies Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen).
The studio will announce who will play Lensherr soon.
X-Men: First Class will open on June 3, 2011.
