Zac Efron may be getting ready to stretch his acting muscle – he’s set to star as a money launderer in the American version of a Swedish thriller – but up first, he’s showing his audience his vulnerable side.
This summer, the actor will be seen in Charlie St. Cloud, a romantic coming-of-age drama based on Ben Sherwood’s 2004 novel about a guilt-ridden young man (Efron, looking good in the titular role, natch) attempting to move on after his little brother’s death.
Looks like a three-hanky one.
Charlie St. Cloud opens on July 30.
