Madonna just announced this new fashion venture, MG Icon last week, right, and since it allows her to put her name on pretty much anything, M is moving ahead with her plans for total fashion world domination, beginning with a partnership with BFF Dolce & Gabbana to make sunglasses.
Domenico Dolce told WWD that the Queen of Pop had wanted to “get involved in some design project for a while,” and that’s how MDG was born.
The hot sunglasses will set back M fans and fashionistas alike about $248-$298 a pair. The MDG line launches in May.
Madonna’s go-to photographer pal Steven Klein shot the campaign, actually a video featuring the icon and model Tyson Ballou. (I guess Jesus Luz was busy writing songs or something.)
