Back to Where She Once Belonged

Julianne Moore has a very good memory.

Rumors had the Academy Awar-nominated actress revisiting As the World Turns, the CBS soap that helped launch her career many moons ago, and guess what – she’s doing it, alright.

Her appearance will be a walk-on, though, which means it’ll be brief. She’ll greet her character’s parents and wish them well. And that’s about it. (The soap will end its 54-year-run in September, which should help explain the A-Lister’s visit.)

Moore could tape her episode as early as Wednesday.

Interestingly enough, she has been flirting with TV this season, firstly as Jack’s Boston gal pal on 30 Rock, and secondly as contender for the lead role in NBC’s remake of Prime Suspect, which she turned down.
