The Creek: A Cradle for Lawyers

Katie Holmes isn’t the only Dawson’s Creek alumni to sing and dance her way over to ABC’s Eli Stone.

Kerr Smith, who played Jack, the Creek’s resident gay fella, will appear on the legal “dramedyusical” in its second season (premiering on Oct. 14), playing a hardcore legal eagle.

Both Dawson’s Creek and Eli Stone were and are executive-produced by Greg Berlanti.

And today’s lesson is: If you ever exec-produce anything, you have to make sure to keep friends with all your talent. After all, you may need them to pop into your new projects later on.
