Earlier this month, Quentin Tarantino began production on Inglourious Basterds in Germany, with an ensemble that includes Diane Kruger, Mélanie Laurent, Daniel Brühl, Eli Roth, B.J. Novak (TV’s The Office), Michael Fassbender (300), Mike Myers, and Cloris Leachman.
Brad Pitt (pictured on the movie’s set at right) plays Lt. Aldo Raine in the long-in-the-making World War II drama.
Inglourious Basterds (yep, that’s how Tarantino’s now spelling his title) will open sometime next year, probably in June according to IMDb.com.

Update: QT says movie audiences are going to see Brad Pitt like we’ve never seen him before.
Promise?
